We’ve been seeing more and more poppy-related merchandise popping up this time of year, including some from Legions themselves.
And they are another way for funds to roll in to help veterans and their families.
myFM spoke with this year’s poppy campaign chair for the Strathroy Legion, Kate Walsh who tells us about the popular lawn poppies.
You can buy them right at the Legion along with another popular item.
Walsh says lawn signs are available too, a nice addition especially in the lead up to Remembrance Day.
Walsh says the items are available for sale at the Strathroy Legion which is open Wednesday thru Saturday from noon until about 9pm.
