The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service is investigating after two small needles were reportedly discovered inside a Halloween treat bag.
Police say they were notified of the incident on November 5th and have since seized the items.
Investigators believe the package was handed out by a resident in north-end Strathroy on Halloween night, in a neighbourhood off Head Street.
Police are urging parents to carefully inspect all Halloween candy collected by their children, paying particular attention to treats packaged inside an orange, Ziploc-style pumpkin wrapper.
Anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to contact the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service.
