Six local paramedics were among the 115 Ontario Paramedics that will be honoured during the 2019 Annual General Meeting and Awards Dinner in Windsor on Thursday night. The awards recognize paramedics who has more than 20 years of exemplary service and have been heavily involved in the community. One of the recipients was Advanced Care Paramedic Dustin Sutherland from Strathroy and the Middlesex-London Paramedics Service. Sutherland says that he is very humbled to have been honoured.
Sutherland says that he really enjoys the job and enjoys serving the people that he knows in the community. Also honoured from the Middlesex-London region were Lynda Jackson, Chris Mortier, Shawn Pranger, Al Riese and William Sadler.
