There won’t come a point in the petition where Bill Weber will leave his post.
A petition calling for the Lambton Shores mayor to resign was created by the former owners of the Roaring Cat Retreat, who lost a lengthy legal battle with the municipality and were ordered to remove their animals from their Grand Bend property.
When asked if he would consider resigning, Weber was brief and to the point.
Weber adds everyone is entitled to their own opinion in a free country, while pointing out he’s unsure if the few hundred people who’ve signed the online petition are even residents of Lambton Shores.
