A fundraiser has been launched by local Nicole McCullough to help out a Strathroy family. McCullough befriended Courtney, the mother of 4-year-old Jordyn and the rest of her family and now she’s trying her best to help them all out. Jordyn was born prematurely with her twin sister, and was later diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. That’s caused mobility issues as Jordyn currently needs a walker to move around. To help the family financially, McCullough started a Facebook fundraiser on the Jordyn’s Journey page, but as of this week you can also purchase a t-shirt.
The money would go directly to the family as Jordyn is set to undergo a surgery in Toronto any day now, which would require her and Courtney to stay in the city for up to four months due to extensive physical therapy, while dad looks after Jordyn’s three sisters from home. The shirts cost $20 for adult and $15 for youth. To buy one or make a donation head over to the Jordyn’s Journey Facebook page.
