Ski Hills Not an Outdoor Option During Coming Shutdown

If you thought outdoor activities like skiing may be an option during the provincial shutdown, think again. Queen’s Park ordered ski hills like Boler Mountain in Byron to shutdown. Greg Strauss, a Boler Mountain management team member told London Media that the news was devastating not only to them but to their customer base. He added it was a shock to learn that ski hills weren’t deemed safe to run during the shutdown especially since the province’s colour-coded restriction system let them stay open even under lockdown. Other winter outdoor activities like skating and trails and cross-country skiing are still deemed safe.
