Adelaide Metcalfe Township Council made it official recently announcing Morgan Calvert as the Township’s new CAO. Calvert comes over from the Corporation of the County of Middlesex where he led the Information Technology Department for 8 years including holding at one time or another various management positions at the County. Calvert, who lives on the West end of London, says he is excited to work more closely with the community. He says while he is thrilled to join the township, he recognizes that it underwent significant change at the outset of the pandemic.
While the township went through significant organizational changes, Calvert could not be more excited to join a group of what he calls extremely passionate people, and knows the influence the municipality has along Highway 81.
Calvert feels he relates to rural Ontario very well, and looks forward to working with council. He will take office February 14th.
