An ongoing OPP investigation came to the forefront this week as the OPP announced that the once president of the London Outlaws motorcycle club was one of eight residents from Southwestern Ontario arrested in a police crackdown. 44-year-old Ryan Daigneault, an alleged Outlaws member, faces several charges according to records from the court. OPP provided few other details, but according to the Free Press, charges of trafficking against Daigneault go all the way back to October of 2020 including alleged incidents in Thames Centre, London, Strathroy-Caradoc, and St. Thomas. This week, one Ancaster man, a woman from Paris, a man from Brantford, two St. Thomas residents, one London resident and locally 42-year-old Daniel Boris of Adelaide-Metcalfe Township all face a slew of charges. Court documents from Wednesday stated that the OPP executed a series of warrants Tuesday across multiple jurisdictions, the result of a multi-year, multi-agency, organized crime investigation.
