It is budget season and with that Middlesex County Council last week came to an agreement on the budget for 2021 according to Councillor Brad Richards.
Other budget highlights included the addition of three more 12 hour a day ambulance shifts to keep up with the ambulance call demand. Funds were put away to address bridge work as noted in the county bridge study. 64.5 kms of road will get reconstruction in 2021 which includes implementing the county’s Cycling strategy where all new roads that are getting rebuilt where applicable will have bike lanes added.
