A new pilot program is underway at Ontario’s busiest provincial parks this summer. Since June 7th, 17 parks are allowing visitors to go online or phone in to obtain daily vehicle permits in advance of their visit. Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks Jeff Yurek says this should hopefully avoid issues they saw last year and starting to see this year.
The goal is to collect the data from these locations and hopefully roll out the program to all provincial parks for 2022.
You can book your day pass at http://www.ontarioparks.com/dayuse or by phoning 1-888-668-7275.
