The Strathroy Rockets announced this week the signing of 2001 born players Kane and Tye Johnson from the Mount Brydges Bulldogs of the PJHL. In 2019/20, Kane scored 13 goals and accumulated 41 points in 52 games. Defencemen Tye had 43 points including 12 goals over the same 52 games.
“We are very pleased to add another 2 local players who have Junior hockey experience to our roster” added Director of Hockey OPS / GM Kent Coleman. “Both Kane and Tye will provide even more leadership along with our other veteran players as we are excited about this upcoming season.”
