
This past Saturday, Strathroy-Caradoc Police nabbed an 18-year-old driver for going 106km/hr in a 50km/hr zone on Glendon Drive. Police pulled the vehicle over, and charged the driver with Race motor vehicle – excessive Speed. The car was impounded, and the driver faces a license suspension as well. On July 1st the stunt driving laws changed, and now drivers speeding over 40km/hr on a road with a posted speed limit of less than 80km/hr could now face a stunt driving charge, a 30-day license suspension and 14-day vehicle impoundment.
