The Conservative candidate for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex in the upcoming Federal election taking place on September 20th is incumbent Lianne Rood. She was elected to the position in the 2019 elections and says that she hopes to be re-elected as the member of parliament for the riding. Rood says that her grandmother is who inspired her to get into politics, after coming to Canada leaving communist Poland. The key issues on Rood’s platform in this election is securing Canada’s future.
Another key point that Rood brought up is that the Conservative Party is wanting to enact a new anti-corruption law to secure accountability in Canada, as there have been too many scandals and ethics being breached.
