Steve Beasley has taken his post as the new Deputy Fire Chief for the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department which he officially started on Monday this week. He has 37 years experience in Fire Service beginning his career in London, UK, serving there for 11 years eventually moving to Canada. He drove truck for a while, then joined the London Fire Service and worked there for 26 years holding positions including apparatus operator, training officer, and Director of Training, finishing his career there as Captain. Overall he thinks he has a lot to bring to the Fire Department in town.
Fire Chief Brent Smith knows Beasley from the time they worked in London together, and is looking forward to what he has to bring to Strathroy-Caradoc.
Beasley says he is looking forward to bringing his knowledge to the growing area, and being a part of the department here.
