
Construction for the East Lambton Community Complex is officially underway, and they held the official groundbreaking ceremony event on Friday to mark the occasion.
Mayor of Warwick Township Jackie Rombouts says that this project has been talked about and for many years, so to finally see it underway is exciting, any everyone is looking forward to the space.
In total, they are trying to raise $2 million dollars for the project, $25,000 was donated and recognized at the event by the Rotary Club of Watford. The hope for the project is to have it done and ready for the public by late spring, early summer 2022, and will have many amenities like a YCMA partnership, pickleball, and outdoor kitchen and so much more.
