Petty Street just north of Strathroy was closed for a few hours Wednesday following a two vehicle head on collision. The accident happened near McCubbin Road involving two pick up trucks colliding with each other resulting in severe front end damage around 4pm Wednesday. Airbags were fully deployed, and preliminary reports say both drivers had serious injuries, but were not believed to be life-threatening. Police are investigating the collision that occurred as the road bends on Petty Street between Highway 81 and Poplar Hill Road.
