An update now from a story myFM broke for you in October about Goss Global purchasing land in Strathroy’s north Molnar industrial park. It will be a 30,000 square foot $5 million plant with initially 12 employees by the summer for Mexican manufacturer Goss Auto Parts Ltd. But that’s not all, this will be the first of three planned expansions slated to be complete by 2026 looking to create up to 60 jobs with the price tag of the eventual 90,000 square foot plant costing about $12 million. Construction is set to begin this month on the Strathroy facility that will manufacture auto accessories including bike racks, roof cargo boxes, and floor mats. Strathroy’s attractive available land is slimming down as town CAO Fred Tranquilli has said the Municipality only has 250 acres of industrial land left and according to him, fielding “multiple inquiries a day.”
