Lerners Lawyers are holding their second annual Learners Healthcare Champions. The program focuses on the community, specifically the healthcare and rehabilitation workers in Southwester Ontario. They are looking for people to nominate healthcare workers like nurses, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, doctors, medical social works, personal support workers and more. Natalee Davis, Community Engagement Manager says the program is very much about community.
Nominations are open now until November 30th. Then the finalists will be announced in February, and the community will get to vote. From there, five winners will be announced in April, and they will receive $5,000 to donate to their charity of choice. At least one of the finalists will be from a small town or community.
