The Ontario Government announced on Monday, that drivers will no longer have to renew their licence plates or stickers.
Effective March 13th, there will no longer be fees to renew stickers or plates for passenger vehicles, light duty trucks, motorcycles and mopeds.
Licence plates and stickers will still need to be renewed every one to two years but there is no cost except for any outstanding fees.
Anyone who has paid already will be refunded.
