Development on Centre Road’s commercial corridor between Strathroy-Caradoc and Adelaide Metcalfe Township continued in February but the ongoing negotiations of renewing a service agreement between the two municipalities continues to surface its head in day to day operations. The Township approved the site plan agreement for a self-storage site on the West side of the road at 28708 Centre Road submitted by A to Z Storage Ltd. CAO Morgan Calvert says they still welcome new development on the corridor even though they do not know where current talks with Strathroy-Caradoc will end up.
When contacted, both Adelaide Metcalfe and Strathroy-Caradoc would not comment on the current status of negotiations themselves. The applicant A To Z Storage has one year now to finish the project.
