The Municipality is undertaking a Section 26 Five-Year Update to its Official Plan. The second phase of this project to update the Municipality’s Official Plan to modernize land use planning policies, reflect various Master Plans and Studies that have been prepared as part of the Growing Together Strathroy-Caradoc, and address housekeeping updates.
Following completion of this second phase, an additional Official Plan Amendment will be brought forward to Council in Winter 2023 to implement any changes to the Municipality’s Settlement Boundary and ensure that the Municipality has
sufficient land to accommodate new growth.
The community now has the opportunity to provide feedback. Your input is critical as the Official Plan will help shape Strathroy-Caradoc for the next 25 years.
There will be a virtual public open house Wednesday, May 25th from 6 to 7:30pm. There will also be a virtual statutory public meeting Monday, June 6th, at 6pm. Please visit our website for information on both the open house and statutory public meeting.
