Available land for purchase continues to make Strathroy-Caradoc an enticing place for business growth. The Municipality received and continues to receive an unprecedented number of inquiries on the lands available in the Molnar Industrial Park. At this week’s council, Michael Buranyi, Development Commissioner stated that administration commenced a dialogue for a land purchase in that area near the boundary.
Council received the report and approved the land purchase to Sunray Group stemming from a conditional Agreement of Purchase & Sale on May 26th, 2021.
Mayor Vanderheyden stated the Sunray Group plans to construct a precast hollow core production plant on the lands which will result in new jobs being created along with new industrial assessment for the municipality. She added it shows how hard the municipality has been working throughout the pandemic, the trust in the community that industry is putting their plants in Strathroy-Caradoc.
