The Northern Parking lot at the Coldstream Conservation Area located at Coldstream Road will be closed July 7th and 8th for repairs. During this time, the portion south of Coldstream Road will be open. The Boardwalk Trail Loop in the southern portion of the Conservation Area will be closed effective Monday July 11th, 2022 for approximately two weeks to allow for the removal and replacement of 200 meters of boardwalk. The new boardwalk will be wider, have more gradual slopes, and edge protection in an effort to improve accessibility at the property. For more information go to strathroytoday.ca
The parking lot expansion is being funded by Nature London and the boardwalk upgrade is being funded through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Community Building Fund. These are two of several projects that will be completed throughout the summer and fall at the Conservation Area.
