During the pandemic, shopping local had a huge impact on businesses. As a result, more and more local businesses have come forward. And with more Local businesses comes more local markets.
Chantelle Leget is the owner of Hickory Corner Market. Her next market is happening this Sunday with all local vendors and a local food truck
The Summer Sunday Market will take place from 10am-3pm at her address 9460 Hickory Drive, the old OPP Station.
Leget has a whole list of about 20 vendors coming to her market. Brisket Man BBQ will be coming to serve food and Kinfolk Photographer will be doing mini sessions all day. Everything from fresh locally grown food, jewelry, macrame, flowers, woodworking and even tarot card readings will be there!
There will also be a raffle for goods to support a Ukrainian family that has come to the Strathroy-Caradoc area. The raffle is in partnership with more local businesses with $1000 in prizes. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to our Ukrainian family. Tickets are $2 or 10 for $5.
