
He fell a little short in 2018 but he’s not done yet. Mike McGuire is running for the Deputy Mayor’s seat in Strathroy-Caradoc for this October’s Municipal election. Back in the 2018 election, there were only a total of 5891 votes cast for the seat of Deputy Mayor, McGuire lost by just 857 to incumbent Brad Richards, and this October the two will face off once again. McGuire says he wants to continue to serve the community and that want has grown over the last 4 years.
McGuire says he does have concerns regarding how infrastructure is eliminating natural beauty within the municipality.
McGuire says the community and municipal government needs to have a new look, and he truly believes that.
