Internet news for Adelaide Metcalfe Township, as part of Ontario’s promise to spend almost $4 billion to bring high speed internet to the entire province by 2026, but Adelaide Metcalfe will see a split kind of effect in terms of providers. Companies were able to bid on the process of hooking up residents and Middlesex County was split into three areas, but Adelaide Metcalfe itself went into two different areas, which would be the majority of residents in the North being hooked up by North Frontenac Telephone Company, and residents to the southern portion of the Township Xplornet. The connection will be a fibre one and will be connected to the network that is already established in Mount Brydges and Glencoe.
