This week is the annual Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign and in Strathroy, Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre has been chosen as the charity of choice for this year’s campaign. The campaign runs this week until the 25th at all Strathroy Tim Hortons locations and coast to coast. All funds raised this year from the sale of the cookies in Strathroy will go towards Salthaven building a new raptor enclosure, which will allow for customizing individual mews for raptor Wildlife Ambassadors who have special needs. It will also free up space to be able to accommodate approximately twice as many raptor patients. Representatives from Salthaven will be at participating Strathroy locations here:
28630 Centre Road Thursday 22nd 10am-1pm
19 Front St Friday 23rd 1pm-5pm
419 Caradoc St South Sunday 25th 10am-1pm.
Customers are invited to purchase a Smile Cookie from September 19 to 25 at any of the local restaurants. Pre-order forms are also available for businesses or individuals who would like to order cookies ahead of time.
In 2021, Tim Hortons restaurant owners and millions of generous Canadians across the country combined broke a new Smile Cookie record by raising more than $12 million for local charities across the country. Nationally, Tim Hortons restaurant owners support more than 600 local charities, hospitals, and community programs through the Smile Cookie campaign.
