A record breaking year this year for the Strathroy Tim Hortons locations and the 2022 Smile Cookie Campaign. Just over $20,000 was raised for the Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre, being the most the campaign has brought in over the 30-year participation of the Strathroy locations. Kyle Roy, Strathroy Franchisee says it was tough to keep up that week but they did it.
Tim Hortons Owner Leah Roy, says the partnership was in honour of someone gone too soon.
Erin Swan, Community Engagement Coordinator at Salthaven can’t say thank you enough to the customers who supported the cause.
The funds raised will go towards a new rapture enclosure to house Salthaven’s wildlife ambassadors and make room for twice the amount of patients. This is Tim Hortons first time partnering with Salthaven. A total of $20,230.83 was raised.
