The Strathroy BIA (Business Improvement Area) has a new Chairperson at the helm. Part-Owner of Violets of Strathroy, Nathan Wilcox, has been in the Strathroy area for about a year now and sits at the top of the BIA Board for the next two years.
Wilcox tells myFM he was nominated by his peers at the BIA. Going forward, he wants to see more connections with local businesses.
Wilcox explains that the BIA helps bring more people Downtown to shop, play and live.
Wilcox joined the BIA as a member and on to the promotions committee. Over the last year, many changes have happened on the board. He tells myFM he has gained many skills in many different areas and plans to use those skills with the BIA moving forward.
