Ontario released the 2023 budget on Thursday, and MPP for Huron-Bruce, Lisa Thompson says it shows that the province is listening to rural towns.
myFM asked the MPP why there wasn’t any additional funding for municipalities, especially since Bill 23, The More Homes Built Faster Act, came to form.
Also included in the budget was $202 million each year for 2 years for Homelessness Prevention and $425 million over 3 years for Mental Health and Additions.
