A bank robbery in the town of Arkona Tuesday. Lambton OPP say around 5:30pm, they were called to the Arkona Road Libro Credit Union branch. Details are few at this time, and Police say there is currently no description of the suspect but sources are saying some cellphones from staff members may have been taken as well. myFM has received an official statement from Mike Donachie, Communications Manager, Libro Credit Union saying “We can confirm there was an incident at Libro’s Arkona location on April 4, 2023. We are working closely with police on this and would refer any further questions to the police service.” myFM has also reached out to Lambton OPP for more details. myFM will continue to follow the story.
