$20,000 has been granted to The Casual Athlete and Owner Greg Horton, from Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company’s Good Spark Program. Horton, founder of the Casual Athlete, tells myFM he helps people that have been let down by the fitness community.
The Casual Athlete was founded right here in Strathroy-Caradoc and caters to the community. Horton will use the grant to help people with disabilities and bring in cutting edge technology, and perhaps some weights as well. Horton was quite shocked when he found out he was chosen for the grant. He tells myFM he can’t thank Desjardins enough.
