Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department all stations were called out Tuesday morning to a Landmark commercial building fire on Longwoods Road in Mt. Brydges. Firefighters from all three stations were on-site with the assistance of Middlesex Centre Fire Services. Firefighters were on the scene for 5.5 hours, fighting the blaze, and reported damage of approximately $ 250,000. The exceptional response of the suppression crew managed to contain the fire in one building. No reports of any injuries to firefighters or the public, and fire investigators are currently looking into the cause, origin and circumstances surrounding the fire.
