Peterborough’s Molly Farace is among 71 elite hockey players invited to the Canadian women’s under-18 summer selection camp in St. Catharines this August.
Currently with the Whitby U22 Junior Wolves, the 16-year-old forward played early on in Otonabee with a boys’ team before moving to girl’s hockey exclusively.
Should Farace impress at camp, she’ll make the trip to Lake Placid, New York for a series of exhibition games against the United States squad. In the meantime, she’s thrilled to be in the mix for that opportunity.
Farace says on-ice awareness is a strong suit of her game.
Off-ice, Farace has been working hard to arrive at camp in the best shape possible.
Included on the selection camp roster are nine 2023 Women’s World Championship gold medalists.
