Earlier this week, OPP had to deal with multiple fatalities on the 402. Police tell us on Monday, they received a report about a multiple-vehicle collision on Highway 402 near Modeland Road in Sarnia.
Responding to the call were Police, EMS and Sarnia fire. Tragically, the driver and passenger of one of the vehicles involved were pronounced deceased at the scene, with another individual sustaining severe injuries and was subsequently transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
Westbound lanes of the 402 were temporarily closed, and police are asking the public for any information or dashcam footage related to the incident.
