Santa Claus is coming to downtown Strathroy November 18th. Strathroy’s Santa Claus parade began in 1962 and the Strathroy Lions Club took it over in 1981 and still runs it to this day as the Strathroy Lions-Ricco Foods Santa Claus Parade. Parade Chairman, Rob Dack, says the parade’s route and time is all planned out and ready to go.
Dack says the parade would not be possible without help from local business within the community including the Municipality and the event’s title sponsor.
If you would like to enter a “Christmas themed” float in the parade, forms can be found on the social media platforms and the websites for myFM, the Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce.
Deadline to enter a float is coming up quick on November 13th, and it is free to enter.
