More conflict has hit Strathroy-Caradoc Council chambers and this week it was during a finance committee meeting where the discussion centered around development charges, potential tax rate and capital projects. The following audio clip is Councillor Derbyshire commenting on the charges before a point of order is introduced by Councillor Brennan.
The meeting was recessed briefly, and Councillor Derbyshire was not seen as part of the meeting when it was reconvened. myFM did reach out to Mayor Grantham for comment, to which we did receive a response from the Mayor saying “out of respect for Council and Councillor Derbyshire I will not comment.”
