With the holidays around the corner, the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department and myFM News are joining up for the 12 Days of Holiday Fire and CO Safety tips. myFM News will be providing you with a new tip each day leading up to Christmas weekend. Today marks day #8 and Fire Prevention Officer Don McLean says it’s best to be ready if your family needs to exit your home in an emergency.
McLean adds families should be trying to get out all together and when you check your smoke alarms monthly you should review your escape plan.
