In January, the Thames Valley District School Board is starting a test project to help adult learners. This project allows certain adults, within two years of finishing high school, to work as temporary custodians for the board while continuing their education. The school board will assist these adults in completing their diplomas through the Adult and Continuing Education program.
On-the-job experience and training might count as required credits, and after finishing their education, there’s a chance for permanent contract employment.
