A great opportunity for local curling enthusiasts to check out the top curlers in Ontario starts today. The Women’s & Men’s Provincial Championship “The Clash on the Thames” is being hosted this year by the Ingersol District Curling Club and taking place at the FlightExec Centre in Dorchester, from January 22 – 28th. Vice Chair of the organizing committee Aden Corcoran says this event is the provincial stepping stone to the nationals.
The opening ceremonies for the women is scheduled for Monday night, with their opening draw this afternoon, while the men’s opening ceremonies will happen Wednesday. There are single day pass, draw passes and full event passes available and ticket information along with event information can all be found here.
