The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service remains committed to addressing the pressing issue of traffic and road safety in our community. To enhance enforcement efforts, all uniform vehicles now feature mounted/handheld radars and license plate readers. Also, traffic units are strategically deploying traffic speed signs in areas of particular concern.
Police tell myFM, in 2023, Strathroy-Caradoc Police issued 525 Highway Traffic Act tickets in zone 1, encompassing Strathroy proper, and 1094 Highway Traffic Act tickets in zone 2, which includes the former Caradoc Township areas such as Mount Brydges, Melbourne, and Delaware West.
