
Middlesex OPP is inviting community members to join the Citizens Police Academy, starting in April 2024. This program offers a seven-week exploration of law enforcement, featuring sessions by various OPP specialized units, including Forensic Identification Services, Community Street Crime, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, and more. The interactive academy aims to deepen participants’ understanding of OPP members’ challenges and responsibilities. Successful graduates will be honored at a graduation ceremony. The program runs from April 4th to May 16th, 2024, and is scheduled on Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Applications can be found in person at the front desk of the London County OPP Detachment, located at 823 Exeter Road in London and at 28444?Centre Road in Strathroy. Applications submitted after Thursday March 21, 2024, will not be taken into consideration. Applicants are required to be 16 years of age or older to apply.
