On Wednesday, the Caradoc Housing Corporation had their official Community Open House and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly constructed Caradoc Place apartment building in Mount Brydges. Mayor Colin Grantham was joined by Councillor and Board member of the Caradoc Housing Commission Donna Pammer and Middlesex County Warden Aina Deviet, and Grantham says this is amazing for the community.
Mayor Grantham says there is a diverse range of affordable and market-rent apartments available.
Grantham says not only was this project needed for the community but specifically for Mount Brydges.
The Mayor adds he is not oblivious to the concerns that this building has brought over its construction timeline.
The new building, located at 22645 Adelaide Road, Mount Brydges, already has 15 couples moved in. When asked what is next for the community, Mayor Grantham says “Stay tuned”.
