For years, officers from the London, Strathroy-Caradoc, and St. Thomas Police departments have backed the Canadian Cancer Society through their “Cops For Cancer” head shaving fundraiser.
Since 2004, they’ve raised over $200,000 for cancer research and treatment, especially for children battling cancer.
This year, the Cops for Cancer committee has joined forces with RCMP ‘O’ Division for the event. The head shaving will happen at 130 Dufferin Ave London, RCMP ‘O’ Division HQ, on May 30th at 1pm.
