Trent University is set to celebrate a milestone in its history with the largest graduating class ever during the 2024 convocation ceremonies. More than 3,100 graduates will be honored across both the Peterborough and Durham Greater Toronto Area campuses during ceremonies that began yesterday and will continue until June 14th.
The celebrations will feature a record 2,664 undergraduates and the largest cohort of graduate students, with 504 Ph.D., master’s, and diploma graduates, across a total of 13 ceremonies at the Symons Campus in Peterborough.
Among the highlights this year are the first graduating classes from the Master of Science in Bioenvironmental Monitoring & Assessment and the Master of Science in Nursing, Professional Practice Leadership programs in Peterborough.
Supporting these ceremonies will be a record 195 convocation ambassador volunteers from the university’s staff, students, faculty, retirees, and alumni, who will assist and guide attendees.
