
The Strathroy Hometown Festival has been a beloved event in the community for over 40 years, the community’s only multiday event and it returns this Father’s Day weekend. This is the 45th addition of the Festival and Chair Shari Terwilligar says she is happy to see the festival return.
Magical Midways will be making a return this year and if you’re a music lover, Terwilligar says you should be excited for what’s coming up on the Execulink.com main stage.
Also make a return after some years away is the Hometown Breakfast event at the Legion. Breakfast is $15 per person or $8 for kids 10 and under and will be served from 8am to 11am on June 16th.
Strathroy Hometown Festival Baseball 2-Pitch Tournament sponsored by Strathroy Sports will take place at the Yorkview Community Park, all weekend and the Sanitary Sewer inaugural pickleball tournament goes Saturday at the Fairgrounds. Tickets are $10 for Friday, $25 for Saturday only or a weekend pass for $30
Doug and Marion’s Bike Rodeo and the Downtown Market takes place on Saturday, and new this year, the Pete’s Sports Interactive Hockey Zone from 11am – 5pm in Royal’s Field admission is $2. Also taking place is Cornhole, and a Ball Hockey Tournaments.
