It’s known as the biggest Canada Day celebration in Southwestern Ontario….The Bash at the Beach. Jen Gaukroger is one of three members of the Grand Bend Canada Day celebrations committee. She tells myFM…people…and a lot of them… come back every year.
Gaukroger says the event itself is huge and donations will be collected that help with putting the event on.
It’s a whole day affair on Canada Day…with children’s activities and music getting underway on the Rotary stage at 3pm. The entertainment runs until 10, then the fireworks blast off from the lighthouse area, and hosting the event again this year, myFM’s own Chris Soares.
