The Ontario government is celebrating Canada Day by inviting both experienced anglers and newcomers to enjoy free fishing from June 29 to July 7. This is a wonderful chance to honor Ontario’s fishing traditions and to spend time outdoors celebrating Canada Day.
If you plan to fish for free during the weekend, make sure to follow conservation license catch limits and carry identification issued by the provincial or federal government, showing your name and date of birth.
