The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service Criminal Investigation Division has laid charges against a York Region man for multiple sexual offences against a young person. On June 20, 2024, police initiated the investigation, which resulted in the arrest of 20-year-old Shubham Sahota, of Vaughan, Ontario. Police say he has been known to use false names when interacting with victims over social media platforms. Sahota is still in custody and the investigators are concerned that there may be more victims.
