This move boosts West Coast Machinery’s position in the equipment industry and broadens its reach across Canada. By integrating Shear Power’s hydraulic attachments with its existing divisions, ShearForce Equipment and Work Truck West, West Coast Machinery will now offer an extensive range of equipment solutions nationwide.
Shear Power, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, specializes in hydraulic attachments for sectors including metal recycling, demolition, construction, forestry, and mining. Established in 2014, Shear Power employs 11 people and operates from a 930 square meter facility. Since its founding in 1973, West Coast Machinery has seen significant growth and change. This acquisition will enhance its ability to meet diverse customer needs with a wider array of products and services.
